About the Product

Cashew nut comes from the tropical tree Anacardium occidentale, which produces both the cashew apple and the edible kidney-shaped seed. It grows best in warm climates with ambient temperatures between 20°C and 35°C and can tolerate heat up to about 40°C. Cashew requires moderate rainfall (1,000–2,000 mm annually) with a distinct dry season for flowering and fruiting, along with well-drained sandy or laterite soils. In regions like Kerala, the tropical climate, coastal conditions, and seasonal dry periods are highly suitable for successful cashew cultivation.
